DJ Wayne Romero started his career back in 1995 in Hastings using his trusty vinyl on Technic 1200's at the Session Rooms where he held a residency for two years before moving down to play at Ye Olde Pump House public house in Hastings Old Town as well as JR’s and Saturdays Nightclubs (where former top 10 DJ's John Digweed and Danny Howells started their careers) playing warm up sets for Boy George, Nigel Benn, Graham Gold.
After this he did the usual rounds like many DJ’s do in their early careers, he worked doing Weddings, Birthdays and celebratory parties. and knew now that his skill and knowledge were very versatile.
He started a new residency at Pier Pressure on Hastings Pier in 2001 DJing with Brandon Block (3 Times), Yomanda, 187 Lockdown, Lisa Pin up, Slipmatt to name a few.
In Hastings he DJed at Frenchs, Trader Jacks, Bar DIVA , DIVA II, Admiral Benbow, the Whitefriers, Tudor House, The Plough, The Postmans Club, Hastings United FC, Civil Services Club, Rye United FC and Yates' as well as the Entertainer in Bexhill before deciding to broaden his horizons so he went firstly to Magalluf, where he was snapped up by the original pre- club bar on the island Prince William Pub.
He returned to the UK after the season and got a residency at Moda sports bar in Hastings town centre before joining Juliana's DJ agency in Ealing, West London which got him a contract in Dubai at the lavish KUBU nightspot in the Intercontinental Hotel. He turned this new bar around into what is now known as one of the busiest and must go places to party in Dubai and featured in Time Out magazine after winning best DJ award 2004 as well as DJing for Alicia Keyes after concert party.
He then moved up to Bedford and DJed in a number of venues including the Soviet bar, the Blacksmiths Arms and the Lounge.
Two years later it was back on the plane, this time to Tenerife where he played at Bikini G's and also played at various other venues across Starcos and Veronicas such as Edwards, The Players Lounge and Gaffers bar.
In 2011 DJ Wayne Romero travelled to Greece to DJ the summer season in Kos, playing Club Anthems and Old Skool house and Garage at Wow! Bar, My House, the Sunset Bar, the famous Aussie bar and Tropicana Club.
On arriving back in the UK DJ Wayne Romero got a residency at the White Knight sports Bar in Crawley. before holding residencies at French's Nightspot, Horizons Nightclub, Azur Marina Pavillion and the London Trader until the beginning of 2017
